The short version. Phrases Park works fully without an account, and if you never sign in, nothing you do in the app leaves your device. If you choose to sign in with Apple, your learning progress is saved so it can follow you to your other devices. There is no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind in this app.

You do not need an account to use any part of Phrases Park. Every feature — the full phrase library, study sessions, all quiz modes, your mistakes list and your progress — works while signed out.
In that case the app stores the following on your device only: your chosen interface language, theme and sound setting; your study preferences; which phrases you have marked as Learned or Archived; your streak and daily progress; your quiz history; and the phrases you have answered incorrectly. None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes all of it.
Signing in is entirely optional. Its only purpose is to sync your progress between your own devices and to restore it if you reinstall the app.

That is the complete list. We do not collect your location, your contacts, your photos, your device identifiers for advertising, or anything you type outside the app.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you. The app contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no tracking pixel.
The read-aloud buttons use the speech synthesis built into your device to speak the app's own phrase text. The app does not use your microphone, does not record audio, and has no speech recognition.
Where the GDPR applies, we process the data in section 3 to perform the service you asked for — syncing your progress — and on the basis of the consent you give by choosing to sign in. You can withdraw it at any time by signing out and asking us to delete your data.
We keep your synced data for as long as your account exists.
Signing out stops syncing and leaves your progress on the device.
To delete your account and everything stored with it, email YOUR-EMAIL-HERE from the address associated with your account, or with your Apple private relay address. We will delete your authentication record and all of your learning data within 30 days and confirm by email.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or receive a copy in a portable format. Write to us at the address above and we will respond within 30 days. Residents of the EEA and the UK may also complain to their local data protection authority.
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access rules on the database restrict every user record so that it can only be read or written by the signed-in person it belongs to.
Firebase may store and process the data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under Google's standard contractual clauses.
Phrases Park is a general-audience English learning app. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has signed in, contact us and we will delete the account.
If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
